This is a pretty sweet project that me and Matt Pizzimenti are working on. Check out the Map demo:
I’ve created an XML document updated daily of the Residence Hall Menu’s. Enjoy.
XML… I need to learn this and use it. Web Services baby!
XML.com: XML From the Inside Out — XML development, XML resources, XML specifications
Interesting… Open Source Street Maps. Haven’t thought of a use yet, but…
Mmm… SOAP… something I should learn.
This is pretty cool. It’s an IRC bot that records certain things into a blog.
I fixed MIschedule for UofM! Its a program that given courses you want to take generates 10 possible schedules based on your preferences with specific sections and times. It doesn’t automatically retrieve info from WA yet, so its not completly fixed.
What’s for lunch? Have the UofM dorm menus sent to your cell phone. (must have an email address)
This looks like a cool project. They are going to build a location sensing network in the new Computer Science and Engineering Building that, if you want to you can wear a tag which will tell the system your location within the building. There are many applications to this. An HKNer Kevin Borders is working on a privacy system this semester.
